By accessing or using Homedata's API services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our Services.
2. Description of Services
Homedata provides API access to UK property data including property attributes, transaction history, market analytics, and automated valuations. The specific features available depend on your subscription plan.
3. Account Registration
To use our Services, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your API keys
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
- Resell or redistribute our data without authorisation
- Exceed your plan's rate limits or usage quotas
- Use automated means to scrape or extract data beyond API access
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services
5. Pricing and Payment
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You agree to:
- Pay all applicable fees for your subscription plan
- Pay overage charges for usage exceeding your plan limits
- Keep your payment information current
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
6. Data Accuracy
While we strive to provide accurate data, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information provided through our Services. Data is provided "as is" and should be verified before making business decisions.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, data, and materials available through our Services are owned by Homedata or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the data in accordance with your subscription plan.
8. Service Level Agreement
Paid plans include uptime commitments as specified in your plan details. Service credits may be available for downtime exceeding our SLA commitments. Enterprise customers may negotiate custom SLAs.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Homedata shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement:
- With 30 days written notice for any reason
- Immediately upon material breach by the other party
Upon termination, your access to the Services will be revoked and any outstanding fees become immediately due.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or through our Services. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
